These are a MUST.
Every child needs a handprint turkey, old school style! You know, before Pinterest made use get waayyy too creative!
Get your colors ready. I let the kids pick what color for each finger! 🙂 I paint and press!
Thumbprint for the neck. When it dries, you can add face & legs.
- Plain or light colored Paper
- Paint; brown, orange, red yellow, green.
- Pen or Sharpie
- Brown Construction Paper
- Orange Construction Paper
- Paint (orange, yellow, red, brown, teal)

We did the handprints first, one color at a time. Once dried, have the kids add the turkey parts and details to complete.
These are a great twist to a Thanksgiving Feast that isn’t just FUN but HEALTHY too!
We did our regular turkey and cheese on wheat bread. I cut them out with a circle cookie cutter. I used a apple slicer to cut up yellow, red or green apples. I used carrots for legs and raisins for eyes. I couldn’t resist adding the tiny trees!
